Today, I was on my couch when my landlord walked in. He asked what I was doing there. I responded with the same question. Apparently my roommate forgot to call me and tell me that our lease ended three days ago. I am now standing in the parking lot with all my belongings, and it is raining. FML

Today, I came home to found all of my belongings out on the street. My roommate, who is also my brother, apparantly neglected to pay his part of the rent, and we got evicted. FML

Today, after my housemate handed in his notice to vacate without telling me beforehand, I had few days whilst working to make a decision to stay or vacate. In a panic, I chose vacate. On my day off I sat down with my finances and discovered I can't afford elsewhere. I asked to stay, my landlord put up rent by 50%. I might now become homeless. FML

Today, my landlord came over while I wasn't home. My friend and her pets were thrown out by her husband. I'm the only person she knows in this state and she begged me to stay. I reluctantly told her fine; just don't answer the door. She did, with the animals, and told him she was living here. FML

Today, our landlord showed up with police and legal paperwork that let him throw us out immediately. Apparently my husband has been ignoring eviction notices for months and having vicious arguments with the landlord. Now we’re homeless and everything we own is in storage. FML

sice when do you have to move out when your lease is up my lease ran out over a year ago it automatically converts to a month to month rental agreement still have to give 60 days notice to move out on either side

How in the hell did you not know your lease was up??? That's just lazy dumbassery! Even if you were month to month and paying the roommate under the table and not on the lease, etc......HOW DID YOU NOT NOTICE THAT YOUR ROOMMATE MOVED OUT??? Yeah, YDI.
