This reminds me of that Seinfeld where Jerry's girlfriend thinks she sees him picking his nose and then breaks up with him. Except that you really were picking it. But seriously, who cares? Everyone has to pick their nose sometimes, and if they say they don't, they're lying. There's some stuff that you can't get out by just blowing it. As long as you wash your hands after, it shouldn't be an issue. Your boyfriend sounds nice for not freaking out about it.
