I feel your pain, OP. I'm currently dealing with superiors who don't care enough to track my work correctly, and who look like deer-in-headlights when I explain what I actually do on a daily basis. You have a tough decision ahead of you: stick it out and try to prove you're worth the promotion, or quit and start over somewhere new. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck!
Communication is the best solution. Always works for me. Good luck.
If it is your job to make sure he doesn't screw up on the shit he is suppose to be doing, wouldn't it make sense for your boss to give you his position so he doesn't need to worry a about failures in his company.
Sounds like you're In Some Bullshit yourself! No fun. Sorry OP
Sounds like a plot to a movie
Sshhh!! Now their gonna go try that and then post another FML about how "their movie idea" was stolen and a better producer and blah made A alot better movie then they would've! Sshhh!!!
I know how you feel, a close friend of mine was still training the "new guy" when he got promoted over her to manager.
Doesn't sound like this is a good place to work at, OP. Maybe start looking for another job. Don't quit this one until you find a new one though.
