Today, I was out to dinner with a friend. When the bill came with a customer satisfaction survey, I put honestly that the "server friendliness" was "below average." Ten minutes later, I had to return to the restaurant to beg the waitress for my keys, which I had left on the table. FML

How the **** did OP deserve it?! If the service was shitty, the service was shitty

I would've talked to the bitch's boss. If you were being honest, and then you had to BEG for your keys because she saw, then maybe, just maybe, the bitch should've been fired.

There is no way he deserved this, he had every right to be honest in the survey and say the waitress needed to improve in friendliness. When you work with the public, even on bad days you have to be pleasant and semi-friendly, and when you aren't for whatever reason you have to expect negative feedback.

Even if it was honest and she was a total bitch waitress, don't ever **** with service people.

I have been a waitress and I have been a customer, and as long as both are fair to each other there is no problem. Servers are not the ******* mob and I shouldn't have to fear that they're contaminating my meal or going to otherwise punish me just because they're having a bad day.

Exactly, I hate people who think it's okay for servers to be rude, nasty, and basically treat customers anyway they want because they handle the food and therefore will do something to it. As long as the customers aren't treating the server badly they shouldn't mess with the food. They need to be able to handle the negative feedback when it is deserved.

I completely agree but if the service is that terrible you talk with the manager, or a superior. I myself am a waiter, and I love getting feedback. But I have some co-workers that throw fits if they don't get a tip. A lot of waiters are nice and caring people, but there are the few that if you **** with them, they'll make sure you have the worse possible experience. It's also very hard to tell which one is which, almost impossible.

Had to "Beg" for your keys? That's totally illegal of the waitress..

Uhh, if she didn't give your keys after the first time you could've told the manager, she should've been fired because if she's going to be a bitch every time someone says shes not a very nice waitress she shouldn't be working there. But that sucks xD It'd be embarrassing that's for sure.

That sucks for you, but you didn't deserve it. It's harder to tell the truth on those surveys when the truth is negative than it is to lie about the service being great. Your waitress was just being a jerk.

Go eat there again and see if she takes your keys again. And if she doesn't give them back, go get her fired. But still. FYL. That sucks. Dumb bitch.

I don't see how the poster should get a YDI. He gave that score on customer service and it was apparently right if he had to beg the bitch for his keys.

I don't think you deserved that at all. Actually, it proves that the bitch needs to work on her attitude.
