Today, I was pulled over for speeding. The cop was hot so I flirted with him as much as I could. But when he came back to the car he still gave me a ticket. Feeling desperate I said, "I thought you didn't give tickets to pretty girls." His response: "We don't." FML

YDI... I love sweet-talk attempts out of receiving punishment for breaking traffic laws that end in failure. I've been cut off by more gargantuan SUV's with "baby on board" and pink "fight breast cancer" ribbons than I can remember. Irresponsible use of cars kill more people each year in this country, than all firearm-discharge-related-fatalities combined. It disturbs me that in theory, statistically(geo/demographics notwithstanding) the last thing I see is more likely to be one of those pink ribbons than say... the response to a gang sign I *should* have made as I find myself in the middle of a spontaneous shoot-out in the ongoing gang wars of south central LA. Alas.

I resent the implication that female drivers are more dangerous than gun-toting gang members. So the girl was speeding--practically everybody does that. She's an idiot for thinking her looks should get her out of the consequences, and you're an idiot for being mildly misogynistic.

Okay: Everyone doing a thing doesn't justify it. Particularly when people die as a side-result of keeping up with the herd. Next, I meant to infer a disproportionate level of threat-imagery in the casual driver vs. a gun-toting gang member deciding-to-bust-a-cap. I also never stated that *females* were the ones driving the SUV's with baby and pink ribbons. I'm more-than-sure there were equal male assholes to female assholes. However, I clearly posited my statement erroneously as I'm presuming to mean you read it as crazy female drivers were going to kill me before my long-sought journey in the heart of south central would. After that, yes she is. Lastly- nonsense, I'm a submissive and it doesn't stem from misogyny- I assure you.

I like how there are quite a few people here commenting saying that the OP shouldn't have been speeding. Really, now? So unless these people are hypocritical then they never speed once in their lives. Big laugh to that idea. But YDI for being ugly. Know when your not attractive and dont rub ur ugliness in the cops face by trying to flirt with him. If I was the cop I would have just laughed at your attempts and given you an extra ticket for failing at life. However, nice try. Even if you did FAIL!

There was no "struggle" as you so put it. No women suffered undue hardship, no women died bloody and battered in the streets. You're trying to lump yourself into the civil rights movement of the 60's - the woman's rights movement was nothing like that. All that happened was a bunch of biddies got together and bitched and moaned to their husbands and withheld sex. The husbands got annoyed with this, and because they were not tyrannical ogres, they conceded instead of slapping their womenfolk on the ass and ordering them back to the kitchen. The biggest problem modern women have is being taken seriously, because, as this OP so clearly demonstrates, by and large they don't deserve it. Yes, I know, not all women are like this. Please try and be one of the exceptions.

You should've just flashed him. You might still get a ticket, but at least you'd have wasted less of his time
