Today, I was reading a book on paper for the first time in maybe a month. I had to stop at a word I did not recognise. Because I'm so used to using a Kindle, I tried to get the definition by pressing it. I had my finger on the word for a few seconds before I realised it was paper. FML

Today, I was writing out palm cards and didn't know if I'd spelled a word correctly, so I stared at it for about 10 seconds waiting for spell check to tell me if it was right or not before I realised I was writing on paper. FML

Today, I was so tired at work that I typed out "wherehouse" instead of "warehouse" in a document shared with my co-workers. It took me several seconds to realize why the heck the spell checker had underlined "wherehouse" in red. FML

Today, I was reading a book, and my severe OCD makes it impossible for me to look up from reading if I haven't finished the page. This includes times like when my mother is frantically calling for help after falling off a ladder. FML

You are a terrible person! Absolutely horrible! You are killing books by getting them on your freaking kindle! Books re going to be sold out all over the world because of you! think about this. if all books become exclusively digital then we wont be killing nearly as many trees to make them. trees will then mostly be used for their intended purposes which include giving off oxygen as well as firewood and jumping in front of drunk drivers :D

I own a kindle for one reason. I travel back & forth between home & my Mum's a lot, & I love reading on the train. I can't take books because there's not enough room in my suitcase & even when there is, it puts my suitcase well over the weight limit. But now that I've got a kindle, I don't need to worry about that.

Part of the reason I think e-readers are stupid. Plus I love the feel and smell of books. "BACK IN MY DAY WE HAD TO GET A DICTIONARY TO LOOK UP DEFINITIONS"
