I had something like this happen to me. I was wearing my insulin pump which has tubing and I was sent to the office for "not having my iPod put away during school hours".

Personally, I think she would benefit from volunteering in a hospital with cancer patients. My dad passed away from cancer and taking him to chemo was one of the most depressing things I've ever seen. Some people yes were thin but a lot were my age and they were very very ill and wished nothing but to gain weight and get better. She needs to see that what she said was stupid. Well wishes OP
