If this really happened, I don't think she was being serious. I really hope you are NOT that stupid.
That's pretty damn unprofessional on her part, first of all you don't get close enough to a customer while mopping so that you create their own little island of dry floor, second you put up the wet floor sign to avoid getting sued, and third, you don't make something as simple as walking difficult for the person who is giving your store money.
Employees are not allowed to mop when there are customers in the store, or at least not the entire store and around the customer. If she needed to mop a certain area, that is fine, but it seems like that is not the case. You can always report her. It is not for revenge, but more like notifying her manager about this before someone (a customer) gets hurt. The employee should have known better anyway. If anything happens to a customer, she will be the one held responsible.
Who cares? What's she going to do, fire you? You're a customer, you don't have to listen to stupid things like that. March right through!
