Today, I was sitting at a bus stop and a guy stops in front of me and says "Oh very nice. How much?" I reply "You couldn't afford me." An old guy sitting next to me says "I bet I could" and puts his hand on my leg. I forfeited the bus and walked home in the rain. FML

FYL because the original guy that you were a prostitute. YDI from the old man because of your response.

You actually admitted in public that you are buyable? Well, what was wrong then with the old guy? You didn't even hear his offer.

Why should I have any sympathy for you when you "pretended" to be a prostitute and the old man decided to either A) call you out on it or B) Use your services? YDI all the way

A smack in the face would have sorted that out. And by that I mean either you smacking him or him smacking you. Either way would shut you up.

I doubt the old guy could've afforded you either if he was riding the bus.

You should have told him thank you, and be done with it. You deserve it, for: a) acting like you're worth so much and b) dressing in a way to make him think you're a hooker. Am I the only one who thinks that he was calling her cheap???

We're going with blaming the way the girl is dressed again, I see. Well I have a story for you. I was walking with my little sister across a crosswalk in the middle of the day when a dude leaned out his window and yelled "how much??" at us. We were both wearing T-shirts and jeans, and my sister was a minor. I can't tell you how often that's happened to us. Some guys feel powerful when they objectify and harass women since those guys don't feel threatened by us and know they can get away with it. When anyone calls them out on it, they're quick to shift the blame to the very women they were harassing. So congratulations -- you've bought into the cat callers' blame game.
