Today, I was snuggling with my neighbors four week old kitten while babysitting their kids. I fell asleep, rolled over, and woke up next to a dead kitten. FML

That's just enormous amount of pure fail. You fall asleep while you should be looking after their kids AND you kill their kitten. I hope you don't do this regularly.

maybe the OP's neighbor has the mom cat. ever think of that? this is probably not fake, and don't blame them. it was obviously an accident. and maybe they was babysitting the kids overnight. the parents wouldn't want them to stay up ALL NIGHT.

1st I hope it's OK for you to sleep on the job (i.e. night shift or naptime). 2nd if 1st is true, and it was OK for you to sleep while they were awake, then THEY should have said something to you (the kids, I mean). 3rd it's a terrible thing that cat died under your care and by accidentally getting slept on. I've heard of VERY loving parents who accidentally roll over on the child or leave him in acar by accident. *hugs*
