Today, I had to babysit both my neighbor's 3-year-old daughter and my very pregnant cat. I left the room briefly, only to come back to a traumatized 3-year-old crying in horror as my cat gave birth in front of her. FML

Today, I took a nap with a kitten I just adopted from my mom's house. To make her feel more comfortable, I took a nap with her on my bed. In my dream, I kept smelling poo and I felt around on the bed to find the kitten. She apparently had diarrhea on my bed and I had stuck my hand in it. FML

That's just enormous amount of pure fail. You fall asleep while you should be looking after their kids AND you kill their kitten. I hope you don't do this regularly.

oh my god... i know you didn't mean to, but i hate you. poor kitten... that's an awful way to die... i'm feeling so horrible and guilty FOR the OP. to all the people that were saying it's JUST A CAT... since when is ANY animal's life (including humans) worth more than another's? i, for one, would MUCH rather see three newborn babies and five adult humans get murdered than an innocent kitten or puppy.

@34 I had a very similar story. We found 3 abandoned kittens by the road that were no more than 2 or 3 weeks old. We cared for them, took the to the vet to get their shots and tested and everything. After they were about 5 or 6 weeks old they started fighting each other so we had to find new homes for 2 of them. We still have the last cat (Dusk) who is about a year now and very healthy. Cat's can survive without their mothers from a young age if you are careful with them. And FYL that is an unfortunate story but at least you didn't kill the children!
