Today, I was snuggling with my neighbors four week old kitten while babysitting their kids. I fell asleep, rolled over, and woke up next to a dead kitten. FML

Today, I had to babysit both my neighbor's 3-year-old daughter and my very pregnant cat. I left the room briefly, only to come back to a traumatized 3-year-old crying in horror as my cat gave birth in front of her. FML

Today, I took a nap with a kitten I just adopted from my mom's house. To make her feel more comfortable, I took a nap with her on my bed. In my dream, I kept smelling poo and I felt around on the bed to find the kitten. She apparently had diarrhea on my bed and I had stuck my hand in it. FML

Today, I made my way to bed around 4am after spending all night hanging out with my family. When I got to my bed, I started to clear a spot to lay down. Almost immediately, my hand touched something furry and cold and, fearing the worst, I turned the light on. Turns out my cat left me a half eaten rodent. FML

That's just enormous amount of pure fail. You fall asleep while you should be looking after their kids AND you kill their kitten. I hope you don't do this regularly.

I was all ready to say YDI because you kind of sound like you must be a moron for crushing a kitten while you sleep. But to be fair, I had to adopt a 4 week old kitten because she was abandoned by the idiots who owned her mama, and she was too afraid to sleep by herself so I had to sleep with her for a couple of weeks. I was just extremely careful. How on earth did you not hear the kitten crying? And how did you think it was a good plan to go to sleep snuggling a tiny kitten without enough space for both of you, and without any precautions? I can't decide if YDI or FYL, to be honest.
