Today, I was spending time with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. Trying to be romantic, I told him that I loved him and I was so glad I was with him. He responded by giving me a thumbs-up and turning back to the TV. FML

Today, I spent two hours perfecting a really romantic text message to my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. I listed all the things I loved about him, and recalled some of our best times together. Two minutes after I sent it, he replied, "Huh?" FML

Today, it is my boyfriend's and my one year anniversary. I bought him a Playstation 2. As soon as I gave it to him, he went straight to set it up without giving me anything. I said "What about me?" He walked over to me, gave me a kiss and said "I love it when you buy me things for no reason." FML

Today, it was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had dinner reservations to an expensive restaurant and planned to see a movie after. At least, we did, until he called to tell me he'd volunteered to work tonight. He won't get off until 2am. FML

#9, they want to be the one that changes them into a nice guy or "saves" them, and most likely, they have daddy issues. Some just like to be with someone difficult or who will control them, because its "cute". Usually, in that last case, it just turns into abuse. That's my own personal opinion anyway.

well come on!! in his defense, you guys we just watching tv leisurely, and u hit him with the "L" word...anf it only been a year!! Of his probably limited options, that was probably the best. Chill out on L word, you have to ease into he, so he can be prepared...

@9 I think I have an answer. Girls want nice guys, or so they say, however, those relationships only last like a month, or so. Girls like mean guys because the niceness they want is hidden behind a wall of asshole. Basically, girls want to work for what they want, not have it given to them. Hence why a nice guy isn't as good as a jackass who can be nice if you just stick with him and try and dig it out.
