Today, I was taking a bubble bath, and had my iPod touch on the side of my bathtub so I could listen to my music. My dog walked up to the side of the tub, looked me in the eye, and nudged my iPod into the water. FML

Today, I was taking a bath after a long day at work. I closed my eyes and listened to music. My cat thought this was the perfect time to come out of his hiding spot and jump in the bath. Once he realized it was filled with water, he freaked out and dug his claws into my face. FML

Today, I decided to treat myself to a relaxing bubble bath. Mid-soak, I heard a loud crash and realized my cat had knocked over a shelf, sending shampoo bottles and bath salts tumbling into the water. Now I'm stuck cleaning up a soapy mess instead of enjoying my spa time. FML

Today, I was going to the bathroom at work. Since I knew it would take a while, I brought my iPod in for entertainment. To bad it disabled me from hearing the continuous knocks on the door as well as the manager eventually picking the lock and busting in. FML

Today, while reading in the bath, I accidentally switched the shower on. Not wanting my book to get soaked, I threw it out of the tub. When I got out of the tub later, I found it had landed squarely in the toilet. FML

Today, I was bathing my dog at a self-serve dog wash at a pet store. The person next to me decided to express his dog's anal glands, and the vile, greasy, fish-smelling liquid hit me on the side of my face. FML

why don't you put it on your bathroom counter? it's definitely your fault for putting it right beside the water when a large, not as intelligent creature could, at any moment, knock it in. I like your dog by the way

I once left my iPod in a pocket of a pair of shorts. I washed them, dried them, and it still works...just saying, yours might still be fine.

time for speakers. i dropped mine in the toilet once (washing hands, fell out of pocket) and it still worked after i let the battery die and hooked it up to my computer.

You're an idiot for posting this on FML. Do you not see how it was totally your fault? Like everyone else said, why the hell didn't you buy speakers or leave it on the counter? Bathtubs are slippery and not a good resting place for super expensive electronic things. And it's not like your dog did it on purpose but you probably yelled at him/her anyway.
