Today, I was taking a bubble bath, and had my iPod touch on the side of my bathtub so I could listen to my music. My dog walked up to the side of the tub, looked me in the eye, and nudged my iPod into the water. FML

Today, I was taking a bath after a long day at work. I closed my eyes and listened to music. My cat thought this was the perfect time to come out of his hiding spot and jump in the bath. Once he realized it was filled with water, he freaked out and dug his claws into my face. FML

Today, I decided to treat myself to a relaxing bubble bath. Mid-soak, I heard a loud crash and realized my cat had knocked over a shelf, sending shampoo bottles and bath salts tumbling into the water. Now I'm stuck cleaning up a soapy mess instead of enjoying my spa time. FML

Today, I was going to the bathroom at work. Since I knew it would take a while, I brought my iPod in for entertainment. To bad it disabled me from hearing the continuous knocks on the door as well as the manager eventually picking the lock and busting in. FML

Today, while reading in the bath, I accidentally switched the shower on. Not wanting my book to get soaked, I threw it out of the tub. When I got out of the tub later, I found it had landed squarely in the toilet. FML

Today, I was bathing my dog at a self-serve dog wash at a pet store. The person next to me decided to express his dog's anal glands, and the vile, greasy, fish-smelling liquid hit me on the side of my face. FML

Next time you want to listen to music, bring speakers in and keep them a few feet away from the tub. Don't wear earbuds and put your expensive MP3 player inches away from shorting. This accident could easily have been avoided.

Awh, this wasn't reallly a YDI or a FYL, since a lot of people do listen to music that way, it's relaxing and it's not like you expected it to happen, so it's not a dumb move or anything. You should get a case for the ipod. This was, however, hilarious to me because the dog looked at you first. I love when pets are kind of jerks because you can't really be mad at them..they're too cute. Hopefully you have a warranty and hopefully it wasn't messed up too much.

bury it in a bowl of dry rice for two days. trust me, it works. my ipod went into the washing machine, and i put it in rice, and an two days it was working fine. the rice acts as a dehydrating agent, and removes all the water.

Wow. Leave your iPod on the counter fool. YDI for not being careful with valuable electronics. Sides the iPod speaker is pretty loud in quiet places.

YDI. Who puts an iPod right next to the tub? I suggest an iPod radio or to keep the dog out. Your choice. Also, an iPod is bound to fall in anyways. especially if you lean to the left and the cord is too short it will pull the iPod :( sorry though?
