Today, I was taking a bubble bath, and had my iPod touch on the side of my bathtub so I could listen to my music. My dog walked up to the side of the tub, looked me in the eye, and nudged my iPod into the water. FML

Today, I was taking a bath after a long day at work. I closed my eyes and listened to music. My cat thought this was the perfect time to come out of his hiding spot and jump in the bath. Once he realized it was filled with water, he freaked out and dug his claws into my face. FML

Today, I decided to treat myself to a relaxing bubble bath. Mid-soak, I heard a loud crash and realized my cat had knocked over a shelf, sending shampoo bottles and bath salts tumbling into the water. Now I'm stuck cleaning up a soapy mess instead of enjoying my spa time. FML

Today, I was going to the bathroom at work. Since I knew it would take a while, I brought my iPod in for entertainment. To bad it disabled me from hearing the continuous knocks on the door as well as the manager eventually picking the lock and busting in. FML

Today, while reading in the bath, I accidentally switched the shower on. Not wanting my book to get soaked, I threw it out of the tub. When I got out of the tub later, I found it had landed squarely in the toilet. FML

Today, I was bathing my dog at a self-serve dog wash at a pet store. The person next to me decided to express his dog's anal glands, and the vile, greasy, fish-smelling liquid hit me on the side of my face. FML

This is why I have a waterproof shower radio, and when I actually rarely use my iPod in the tub, I hold it outside of the tub and don't put it on the edge or use it above the water.

Aw, that really sucks. My dog did the same thing, but with a glass of milk; which spilled all over my clothes and couch. It bites, but you'll be fine. They're just things =)

"Buy an iHome", "buy portable speakers"... why? Just buying a $5, 3.5mm audio extension cable would work just fine. Leave the iPod on the ground next to the tub - and close the door so the dog doesn't step on it!

oh, it might not be broken...mine went through the wash a few months ago...just let it sit there and dry off for a few weeks...almost good as new...but the battery is shot and the WiFi doesn't always work...better than nothing
