Today, I was texting this cute guy that I like. After a couple of minutes I get a missed call from him, I call back and his girlfriend answers and says "Hi this is his girlfriend, please stop calling him". FML

i dont really care what girls say to my boyfriend, its all about what my boyfriend says back to them. but its totally different if im standing next to him and some girl tries to hit on him. she should be waiting to get hit at that point haha. as for the OP, YDI because find out if this guy is taken or not before you really start to pursue him. but FYL if he was just being a dick and wanted to avoid you.

Even still, it's a ydi if he WAS just being a dick and ignoring her. She was still trying to get the attention of someone who obviously wasn't interested. That's wasted time just setting yourself up for disappointment.

What you should have done is texted back saying hi this is (your name inserted here) boyfriend. Can you please tell your boyfriend to stop texting my girlfriend. Chances are she'll dump him thinking that he was talking to you out of his own consent leaving you to hook up with him. Sorry if that was hard to understand I didn't know how else to state it.

Well he would have had to have given you his phone number to call/text him, so really, the girlfriend's in the wrong. That sucks for you 2 ways (he's an ass, and he has a girlfriend) OR maybe he knows you're calling him, and isn't interested, and immaturely asked his friend to answer, pretending to be his girlfriend, so again, that sucks. But FML-worthy that a guy you think is cute has a girlfriend? Not so much. Maybe if you called while he was driving and by scrambling to answer to phone, he gets in a fatal car crash, then yeah, FML. In the end, you deserved it for texting a guy to say you like him rather than actually talking to him. I think 2 minutes into a conversation he would have told you, respectfully, that he has a girlfriend.

Maybe one of his friends or her friends gave her the number. That does happen if someone's trying to play matchmaker. And I don't see how the girlfriend is "wrong". It's still HER boyfriend it's not like he's an ex or just a friend. If anything OP is in the wrong for texting a guy with a gf and if the boy DID give her his number he is in the wrong. There's no way for the girlfriend to be in the wrong unless SHE gave the number to the OP. Which doesn't make any sense.

NEWSFLASH: You can be friends with the opposite sex. If you think a boy can't text or message a girl just because he has a girlfriend, then you have serious relationship control issues, and should seek mental help right now. Since your posts indicates that you feel once a boy gets a girlfriend, he must cut off contact with all female friends and not gain any new friends, I strongly encourage you to see a therapist before you end up doing something psychotic when you get ina relationship and and see that the world doesn't work in such ways, and no man is going to be content with your being a control freak who demands they not have female friends

lol... the point was that someone made her a missed call and when she called back the other one told to stop calling when the calling was triggered by the missed call that she had made herself.
