Today, I went downstairs a little after midnight to grab a snack, and in the dark hallway, I clearly saw a small child walk into the kitchen. I was freaked out, but I followed him in. There was nobody in the room. I'm now too scared to sleep, and am seriously considering moving house. FML

Shadow people hate light or illumination just keep ur house well lit and if that doesn't work here's what u need to do grab a big can of salt make a circle out of it were y want to be safe this is a weak protection against ghost since if their strong enough they can make a gust to blow away the salt but the most powerful protection is make a pentagram (star inside the circle thing ) and just get inside it the next day go to a church and ask for an exorcism but if u want that u will need proof for the Vatican and the pope so u can film or call a medium I hope this is helpful I tried this when I lived in apartments and at night plates shattered light bulbs exploded banging noises could be heard

You'll get used to it OP. My house has some strange occurrences but I don't worry about it. Sometimes I hear voices, doors slam shut on their own, things move with no explanation, etc. My roommate has seen it too. Freaked us out at first though.

Move out why it is a ghost you leave it alone and it will leave you alone. Ghosts get a bad rap with movies that are meant to scare you. I tell you I am more scared of The living than the dead.

My experience with paranormal activity is to ask whoever it is to go away! tell them that their presence frightens you and there isn't anything left on earth for him and they can go on. but this could also possibly be a residual haunt (look up to see a description) and if thats the case the little ghost will be of no harm to you!

My boyfriend's grandmother claims there's a little Victorian-era girl in her house and that it followsher to other places. She says that as long as she doesn't bother the girl, she doesn't do anything. A lot of my boyfriend's little cousins have claimed they've seen her, too. Scared the shit out of me and thought the little girl would follow me home ;-;

My dad was convinced there was a Victorian-era ghost in my childhood home who looked a bit like me. Some creepy things definitely happened in that house though. I remember once I was sleeping in the house on my own, and I woke up to a loud bang, only to find all the posters on my wall had been ripped to pieces. To this day, I still can't explain what happened. Scared the shit out of me though. D:
