Today, I went into a crowded store and tried out a blazer. I was thinking to myself how hot I looked in it when the manager tapped me on the shoulder and politely said, "Excuse me sir, that's a ladies' blazer." FML

u guys are pretty stupid he's obviously a guy because told us the man said 'Excuse me SIR, that's a ladies blazer.' unless the fml is that she's a girl that got mistaken for a guy.

What girl has the name Fred? Fail.

The reason they thought that is because sometimes, FMLs that include OP being referred to as "sir" are FMLs because the OP is really female.

That doesnt mean it is a man. The manager could have been wrong.

Now people think you're queer.

Just smile and say, "I know, doesn't it look amazing?".

Fashion has no gender! That manager sucks.

This reminds me of back in the 90s when the girls jeans were just horrible and had an awful fit (We apparently hated the female figure back then). I weighed around 120 at the time so I should have had no issues with finding something that looked good. My mom being the clever one she is had me try on some of the guy pants because their popular style had a better construction for a female body. Needless to say I looked great, we got a few pairs, and people kept hounding me about how I managed to find pants that didn't choke the life out of me. Just goes to show even if something is stated as being male/female the designer may have no absolutely no clue what their doing and what the've made could be better suited for the opposite gender.

I'm always extremely afraid of that happening to me. But like some people have said, if it looks good, wear it. I wear guys' clothes all the time. The manager was just stupid.

That sounds like a truly amazing blazer. If you couldn't tell it was made for women then I'm sure no one else will be able to either...

Who cares? If it looks good get it anyway. Just rip out the woman's tag when you get it home.
