That sounds like a compliment. Nice hips really are underrated. Great hips does not equal fatty.

While I accept that this is actually probably a compliment, I understand why the OP would be a little creeped out by it. Maybe yes, she should've realized it was a compliment but honestly, stop and think of what your first reaction would've been if someone said that to you on your FIRST date out of nowhere.

And the response to that would be "I have to admit, I'm glad your mom was checking out my hips because I was checking out her body, too. Mmmm...."

while he may be giving the op a compliment, that is seriously creepy. Like, what is she for them to discuss her "breeding" potential, a dog? I think the fml is about how creepy this guy is, not about her hip size.
