Today, I went out on a first date. He insisted we go to McDonald's and split a Happy Meal because he "didn't want to waste any money on a first date." FML

Wow how cheap can you be to split a happy meal and not a big mac meal?

He sounds like a person who is wise with his money, :"Times is hard."

Economical and genuine. He's a keeper.

It is possible to get much more food for the same price of a Happy Meal at McDonalds. In my city two double cheeseburgers total much less then a Happy Meal. Bring a drink from home and it's a great date, nothing wrong with being frugal.

While there's nothing wrong with being frugal (cuz I am), there is a such thing as being a tightass grinch. #187

hey blame the economy and our great leaders for this one
