Today, I went out to dinner with my brother. There was a very attractive man sitting a few tables away who kept glancing at me. When my brother excused himself to the bathroom, the man worked up the courage to come over and introduce himself to me. He asked me if my brother was single. FML

You're right. The gay guy should have wanted to date you. #7, why would he avoid starbucks because of that? I've been hit on by a lot of gay dudes, and I usually take it as a compliment. Only time I didn't is when the guy actually grabbed my ass. Then shit got personal

I came here to comment the same thing, actually. A guy and a girl are out to dinner together, he just assumes that not only are they not dating, the guy is single AND gay? What are the odds? Maybe he was sitting close enough to overhear their conversation.

just cuz someone's intolerant doesn't make them a horrible person. i think thats a bad trait but you probably have plenty of those yourself, there's nothing wrong with being gay but not everyone sees it that way. as long as people aren't so intolerant that they're hurtful or violent you've just got to deal with not everyone agreeing with you all the time.
