Today, I went out to eat at a restaurant. When the waitress saw me, she continously told me how beautiful and kind I was. Flattered, I just said thank you. Five minutes later, one of the ugliest girls I've ever seen in my life walked in. The waitress told her the same exact things she told me. FML

Today, I had an interview to be a waitress. Afterwards, I had food in the restaurant, which is where I overheard my interviewer tell the manager he wasn’t going to bother hiring “that girl I just interviewed” because "her face is nasty and she’ll put the customers off their food." FML

Today, I went out to eat. When I walked into the restaurant, a lady approached me and said she'd seat me soon. After a long wait, I saw that same lady leave. Then I realized she didn't actually work there and was just screwing with me. FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with some friends. I noticed a very cute waitress about my age, so I walked over to her and asked if she had a boyfriend. The extremely fit, attractive waiter standing next to her immediately turned, held out his hand and goes, "Yeah. Meet me." FML

Well, even if the waitress was just trying to get tips, I give her props for her actions. Everyone deserves to be told that they are beautiful because well, we all are in our own special way! I'm guessing even the OP has some redeeming qualities despite her "ugly attitude." Operation Beautiful, everyone!

Hmm... good sentiment, but the execution could be better. If everyone is beautiful in their own special way then everyone should get their own special acknowledgment. :-D OP: Yeah, that sucks, but hey, are you REALLY gonna' complain that someone tried to butter you up? Really? You DO realize that if she's saying this to EVERYONE then it has absolutely no bearing on you at all, right? :-/
