So...you're complaining because your friends watched you stop your mother from driving drunk? Yes, I can see why you wouldn't want people to know that you'd prefer your mom not die in a horrible car accident. That would be so terribly embarrassing. YDI if you're going to have that kind of attitude.

Or...maybe the OP was just embarrassed that the whole situation happened in the first place? I'd be embarrassed, too. Not because it's embarrassing to care, but because it's embarrassing to have a family member act up in front of all your friends.

Fair enough. I guess in my haste to show my annoyance at the fact that they were posting an fml about stopping a family member from driving while intoxicated, I neglected to consider that. Thank you for mentioning that. :)
