Today, I went to get my first tattoo. When I told the man that I wanted Tinkerbell on my lower back area. He snorted and told me that I was way too old to have Tinkerbell on me, and that Disney characters are only cute on people 35 and younger. I'm 23. FML

Today, I was yelled at while I was shopping by some lady, because she saw my tattoo on my arm. She screamed that I'm the "spawn of Satan" and told me I'm going to hell. It's a fake tattoo of Mickey mouse. FML

Today, I was getting my first tattoo done. My parents told me it was a bad idea. My friends' parents told me it was a bad idea. I told them that people get tattoos done all the time and nothing goes wrong. Fifty minutes into the tattoo on my back, the artist said, "Oh shit, shit, shit. We can fix this." FML

Today, my boss threatened to fire me because of a tattoo I have. It's a small teddy bear on my leg with my parents' names on it. My workplace has no problems with tattoos, but my boss said it was "unoriginal and lame." It's a memorial tattoo; my parents died last year. FML

Here's the thing about tattoo artists, what they do is a form of art, so whatever they send out in the world is going to always have their name attributed to it. Maybe the artist didn't want to do a tramp stamp of tinkerbell because he knows that other people will see it and possible know he did it and doesn't want that lame tattoo on his record. Sounds like he did you a favor anyway. Tinkerbell tattoo? Grow up OP, you aren't a 13 year old girl.

Remember some, [or most] tattooists have been not IDing people for many many years, so of course 12 looks like 18. Also, YDI if you didn't expect something like this, going to get an unbelievably generic tattoo. tattooists have reputations to keep. YOUR FIRST TATTOO.... AWWAH BLESS. why can't people do some research into things that are life changing and permanent. not to say OP hasn't but the tram stamp speaks for itself really. go back an shake that man's hand, for not ruining your body.
