Today, I went to get my first tattoo. When I told the man that I wanted Tinkerbell on my lower back area. He snorted and told me that I was way too old to have Tinkerbell on me, and that Disney characters are only cute on people 35 and younger. I'm 23. FML

YDI for wanting a Tramp Stamp. And especially one of Tinkerbell.. *shivers*

"Today, I asked for a Tinkerbell tramp stamp." Whatever happened to you afterwards, you deserved it.

Are you black? Because you need to be to sport anything Disney once your'e no longer a tweenager. I already mentioned this in the Tinkerbell jacket FML.

...do you not know that tattoos are permanent? Do you not know that you won't be 23 forever? Eventually, you will be over 35 with a tinkerbell tattooed to your back. Biology much? :D

FYL for the tattoo artist calling you old. :( YDI for wanting to get a tinkerbell tattoo, and especially for getting a tramp stamp. If you want to get a tattoo, the lower back is not the way to go.

god are you trying to be a hoe? just be glad he told you so you didn't get that ugly tramp stamp!

FYL for having a tattoo artist that's judging your tattoo. Even if you wanted "**** MY ASSHOLE" on your lower back he should've just respected whatever the hell you wanted.

That tatoo sounds disgusting. I'm sorry, it does. But i don't understand the tatooists logic.. you get the tattoo forever.. so you will be over 35 hen you have it.. so he shouldn't have said anything..

Geez people, will you stop judging her like that? So she wants a Tinkerbell tattoo, big deal! It's not your skin that's gonna be marked, so stop telling her how it's a bad idea, it's trashy or stuff like that. If she really wants it, I don't see any trouble.

I know artistic merit is subjective and all that shit but tell me, what kind of message is sent by a Tinkerbell tattoo? (inb4 childish, promiscuous, etc. This is a real question) No, really, what profound statement about the universe is expressed through Tinkerbell? Seriously, people with shitty tattoos sadden me. They're art school dropouts ******** on their canvases with this barbed wire and lower back squiggle bullcrap. Do you think the Pope just told Michaelangelo to paint "God or someshit" on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?

Oh yeah. A regular girl, the Sistine Chapel. Totally the same. And that's not even my point, what I meant is that it's not about sending a message to the whole universe, it's about doing something she likes. And besides, how the hell is that our problem? I know my life won't change because she gets a Tinkerbell tattoo. If you want a tattoo just to look cool or smart to others or crap like that then don't do it, you shouldn't do those kind of stuff for anyone but yourself, that's all I mean. So if she likes Tinkerbell so much, who are we to tell her not to do it?
