Rhyno tells us more.
To explain a bit more in detail, I pulled a U-Turn and the dog ran out of the yard and boom... It was a medium sized dog, I drive an SUV and didn't see it as I was making the turn. I didn't even know they had a dog... haha The following 20 minutes were probably the most uncomfortable of my life, after I knew the dog was fine I kinda laughed nervously and left. "Hi I'm the guy who is dating your daughter, sorry about the dog"... Live and you learn.

Aw, I'm glad the dog's okay! What a sad situation for you, your girlfriend, and especially the dog! :( Though I'm guessing your u-turn was illegal anyway, I really think this is mostly the owners' problem. Running into the street to "greet" cars is cute when seen from the dog's mind, but if the owners live in a place where there are cars around, it's their responsibility to make sure their dog is either contained or is trained to avoid cars. It's pretty much neglect otherwise... I hope everything's turned out all right though. :)
That is horrible. Good job looking where your driving. but the family should've held the dog back. If you ran over my dog and it died...I would of made your life horrible.
Ohhhhh ****!!!!! poor dog!!!
Dear god bro, I'm soo sorry I feel for you.
fyl. but I don't understand why you would pull a u-turn. If you were in a residential area.. as I assume you were because they were waiting outside, there would be another driveway in a couple hundred feet (at max) that you could turn around in and play "I didn't know which driveway was yours" or some other crap. If you were in an SUV, they have a giant turn radius, so yeah, I'm highly doubting the U-turn scenario. If it is true, fyl. If it isn't, congrats on making me think about this for this long, lol.
wow... yu got be suchh a smart ass ??
They're the ones dumb enough to let their dog run around loose.

How is making out with your significant other somehow worse then KILLING THE FAMILY PET? You got some priority issues, man.
