Today, I went to my orthodontist where I was informed that I'll going to the prom, to my brother's wedding, and maybe to university with braces in my mouth. FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

I actually find braces very cute. The only possible FML I see here is the tightening process.

Who cares? I have to have braces for my Proms and my Senior Pictures and I really don't care. It's not like they're horribly ugly. They don't even hurt.

Suck it up. Oh, boo hoo, you need braces? So do many people. Be glad you're getting them now - looks like your little 'jaw moulding window' is just about up. Any later and you'd have to have your jaw broken.
