Today, I went to see a psychiatrist for my depression and low self esteem. While in the waiting room, I overheard a guy telling his friend how ugly I am. FML

Today, I went to the doctor to talk about my depression and low self-esteem. He told me that I shouldn't think of myself as a fat pig for being overweight. I don't think that and I'm NOT overweight. FML

Today, I walked into work and overheard three of my female coworkers talking and laughing about how ugly my face is, and how they’re sorry for whoever has to marry me. They went on to name the coworkers they actually would sleep with. I’m 25 and I've still never had a girlfriend. Thanks for the self-esteem boost. FML

Today, my self-esteem has gotten so low that when I was out walking my boss's dog and someone called out, "Beautiful!" I assumed they were talking about the dog. They had to clarify they were speaking about me. FML

Today, while eating at my college cafeteria, I started thinking about all the awful crap going on in my life right now, and I started sobbing. Some guy at another table started snickering at me, at which point the guy I like said, "Give her a break. If I was as fuck-ugly as her, I'd be crying too." FML

Today, my friend, knowing my mental health is really bad right now, decided to yell out the fact I have an eating disorder, and how she never sees me eat ever, then started to talk about self-harm and how she would never do it despite what she has gone through. All while side-eyeing me when talking to other people. FML

Wow are people these day's really this cold hearted? Or is it just a lack of self esteem on their end, considering they all have to be rude and make others feel bad? And yes I'm talking to you #1. Cause from where I stand you sound like a total POS. Everyone has their own problems OP, and don't let others bring you down in any way. Everyone has faults but nobody should focus on them, that's why people in this world are so screwed up, because everyone focuses on the bad, or feels the need to be disrespectful to one another. It's called insecurity, when one feels the need to make another feel bad about themselves, it's only so they can try and make themselves feel better about the shitty life they have.

No matter who you are or how you look, someone is going to think you're ugly. No matter who you are or how you look, someone is going to think you're beautiful. So stop wasting your time on the asshats who think it's ok to shit all over someone for not being beautiful the way they define it. To the asshats who think it's ok to be ignorant and rude to people based on looks - being ugly on the inside is the worst kind of ugly.
