Today, I went to the Apple store to try and figure out what's going on with my iPhone. After an hour of speaking to three different geniuses and waiting around, their solution was to "Google it." FML

Perhaps they're not really Apple Geniuses, but rather the meme kind.

Interesting, since google and apple are now rival companies. Anyway I hope you figure it out Op

Even as a pleased S3 owner myself, I don't understand why you and many others care even 0.00001% what phones total strangers use or don't use.

YouTube has alot of videos on how to fix everything wrong with iPhones.

They say that all the time! Or else they google it themselves!

If google and duct tape can't fix it then it can't be fixed. :)

Sounds just like my father. He has his masters in computer science and has worked as the IT directer at many colleges, and he still insists I "google it" if there is a problem.... really dad? FYL

People assume that just because someone works in the technology industry, they want to spend all their time handing out free tech support. This is not true. It might sound heartless, but when literally all of your family and friends ask you for help "occasionally" it adds up to *someone* bugging you multiple times a week. If you would just *try* to look it up yourself you would find that most of the time it is simple to fix, assuming you can read and follow directions.

^Agreed. I can get really tired when family/friends bug me for the simplest issues. It's not that I don't want to help them, but it seems like a waste of my time to come over there just to hit the "On" switch, because they couldn't be bothered to check it.

Well what is wrong with your iPhone? someone here on FML might be able to help, hope you can figure it out, maybe try restoring it in iTunes.

I would have googled it first, then if I didn't find the answer, take it in. That's what I do Every time my iPhone works up.
