Ginger :O
Sucks, especially in a place where you actually get sun in the summer... Try a higher factor suncream?
Ouch. I hate sunburns. I bet at least one person is going to be stupid and write "its winter, not summer!". Its not winter everywhere around the world, people.
I live winter in Australia!
it's winter not summer. there I said it are you happy?
Actually, the brilliant thing is that so far all people have done is predict that people will say that. I must admit, I was expecting as much ignorance as those predicting it... Damn, LoganBballin ruined that statement... :P
Zp, yep, but I felt like I might as well just complain about being post jumped rather than delete the whole comment. :P Dudeitsdanny, I did exactly the same thing.
lucky for me, I'm not white, I'm Puerto Rican :D
Dude you're Puerto Rica? That sucks worse than getting burned... Come on, how was I not supposed to make that joke?
Sure, but have a shower, too. It's starting to stink in here.
Did you use a high SPF sunblock and reapply frequently? Even waterproof sunblocks have to be reapplied often because it isn't a permanent fix. If you went in the water, it needs to be reapplied even more frequently. Water doesn't block the sun and does break down the sunblock.
I feel your pain. I'm the same way - pasty white and can't tan, burn in under 20 minutes without sunscreen. I burn and blister and then return to pastiness. I don't know if it's available there, but Hawaiian Tropic's Ozone range of sunscreens works pretty well for me. I still have to reapply it every couple hours, and even more frequently if I'm swimming, but at least it keeps me mostly unfried!
That sucks. :( Tan in small increments every day until you get a little colour. Until then, stay out of the sun for long periods of time. Oh and get some Aloe, it really helps. :) In another note, I wish it was summer here. Canadian winters SUCK! :/
Oops, I meant "on another note".
I feel you OP. Except I tend to get a mix of sun poisoning and heat rash before I burn. I get heat rash on exposed skin too, I don't get it. Bah.
you a red head or Ginger perhaps..

You were probably just outside for TOO long. Everything has to be in moderation.
I hear ya, girl.. Being white sucks sometimes :/.
