Today, I went to the zoo with a guy I like, when we were there we saw a swarm of bees. I told him that if I got stung he would have to watch me because my dad is deathly allergic to bees and I have never been stung. Jokingly, he nudged me into the bush and said "let's see". We did. I'm allergic. FML

What an asshole. Even if you weren't allergic that would still have sucked. Seriously, what the hell? "Look, there's a swarm of bees! Let's jump in and see if you're allergic or not!"

People have said this, but it's true that there's something wrong with this. You wouldn't have an allergic reaction with your first sting.

If your dad is deathly allergic and you are too, you should be dead now. :P

Too bad you don't have an allergic reaction until the second time you're stung... Good job.

Now you know he is not much of a friend if he could do that to you jokingly!! That isn't funny at all, so shouldn't be done as a joke

If he was a gentleman, he would have pulled you away, not pushed you in. What the hell is with boys these days? All a bunch of insufferable jackasses. I sure hope you don't like him anymore; he's a grade-A dick.

The boy does seem to be an idiot. But we all make mistakes. How did he react to the fact that you did get stung (which is no fun BTW) and that you're allergic. The problem is, even if he swears all sorts of "sorry", can you rely on him to to do something idiotic again because in his brain, it seems funny? And to all those claiming that you only show allergic reactions on the second sting - it is quite possible that this *was* her second sting - because, according to you, she wouldn't have shown any allergic reaction to a first. Although honestly, I've not seen anything which authoritatively states that all allergic reactions *must* be preceded by a non-allergic experience. Can you provide a citation please? Circumstantial evidence seems to suggest that some people are born with the reaction already built in.

...And you're going out with that dumbass? Wow, hahaha, F your life, seriously. Also, find a new boyfriend, and pray that he's a bit smarter.

I'm sure he kicked himself for it as it was happening "Let's see (to himself) ohshitwhatamIdoingabortabortcrap." Still, that SUCKS.
