Okay. That is so unfair. If the atm was broken why didn't you get your money back. You deserve to get your money back.
I dot particularly care who, but somebody would be reimbursing me my money. Either that or the hotel would get my payment for my stay minus $120.
That's bull, don't let it go. That's up to the hotel and the atm to figure it out not you. They sign a contract about that stuff when they bring the ATM. The ATM isn't gonna lose money because it's not giving any. That's a lot of money to me, don't back down, one of them will reimburse you. Good luck

OK, this has never happened to me, but that's completely unacceptable. You don't have the money, they're not out of the money, there should be no problem refunding it.. I wouldn't give up on this one.
First, THEY SHOULD'VE UNPLUGGED IT AND PUT UP A BIG SIGN SAYING OUT OF ORDER!!! WHY DIDN'T THEY?!?!?!? Second, it's definitely the hotel's problem. They should reimburse. If not, get them to talk to the bank. Let them sort it out with each other for you.
