Today, I woke up early and made my boyfriend french toast. When he woke up, he yelled at me because it was his dish day and I was creating more dishes for him to do. He made me do the dishes. FML

Today, I woke up to my boyfriend making breakfast. I thought he was making it for me, so I sat at the table. When he walked over with his plate, he said, "Oh, I didn't know you were here!" I'd slept in the same bed with him last night. FML

Today, my boyfriend came home and demanded dinner. I started suggesting things, but he threw out that we should just fend for ourselves. I made pasta and offered him some, but he decided to throw a fit and go to bed at 6:30pm without dinner. He then woke up at 9 to complain he was hungry, then slept on the couch. FML

Today, my boyfriend set up a very romantic dinner. Afterwards, he offered to wash the dishes while I went upstairs and relaxed. His way of washing the dishes was to scrape all the food off, then wipe the juices off the dishes with a paper towel before putting them back in the cupboards. FML

Today, it was my turn to do the dishes. My lazy dad just leaves his dishes in the sink without even wiping or rinsing them out, and it's been going on for weeks. When I confronted him about it, he gave a childish huff and said, "Well, next time, YOU make me breakfast!" He's unemployed and never does the dishes. FML

Guys...let's not be children! The OP did a nice thing. Set the dishes in hot water...by the end of the day there shouldn't be an issue. I wash dishes by hand all the time both at home and school and at my bf's house. It astounds me that ther are people who can even justify the bf's side. Anyone who does is nothing but selfish as well. Dishes get made, it happens. Why doesn't the bf just yell at her everytime she makes a sandwich or make a bowl of soup too?

Um, actually, no, they don't cost that much. Not anymore. Plus, dishwashers save you on water and electricity. Good for the che in the house, your hands, pocket and the planet. I hate to ruin your strange perception of the world, though... The only problem with a dishwasher is that if there's only one or two of you it takes a while to fill the dishwasher up so you can run a cycle. I have a dishwasher I hardly ever use just because I can't wait that long to be able to get the dishes clean.
