If you're going to wear a kilt, you have to be expected for the stares. It's cool that you did, but YDI.

So I understand that not wearing underwear under a kilt is tradition. I also understand that kilts (like skirts) can fly up exposing the wearer's genitals and showing your genitals in public is against the law. So I don't really see why any guy would not wear underwear and risk severe humiliation and possibly even being arrested. That's just plain stupid.

Speaking as a Scot, there's a time and place for a kilt. St Andrew's Day - yes, Burn's Night - yes, national football games - yes, hogmanay - yes... university lectures - never..

I thought it was funny, but a kilt is not flowing material, so I do not believe it blew up in the wind.
