Today, I wore my kilt to the university I attend. Getting tired of the stares which I was receiving, I yelled "It's cause its too big to fit in my pants". As soon as the words left my mouth, a gust of wind came and blew my kilt up around my waist, revealing that my previous claim was untrue. FML

wasn't the point of wearing a kilt to get attention?? then you attract more attention by yelling... and then give everyone a free show getting MORE attention.... and then complain about the attention. grow up dude; and next time you wear a kilt to college, make sure you read this page and take everyone's advice hahaha

@ 41--You don't wear a kilt with underwear underneath it. That's not the proper way. Mad props for doing it correctly, but still, wearing a kilt to college is a bit silly.

So let me get this straight, you are going to Univeristy in Alabama and you're suprised that people were staring at you in a kilt? You realise that Scottish people don't actually wear kilts all the time right? and that it's kinda obnoxious to wear it for no reason in AMERICA? Why don't you just wear a tuxedo to class or a large bird costume since clearly you are desperate for attention.

This reminds me of a situation when I was in college... there was a very attractive young lady walking out from a building, wearing a short-ish skirt. It was quite windy that day and a gust came along at just the wrong time (for her at least, or just the right time for us depending on how you look at it). Her skirt came up above her waist before she caught it and quickly smoothed it back down. I yelled out to her in appreciation that it "was such a nice day for a skirt". As she was smoothing her skirt down with her right hand she slowly reached up with her left and gave me the finger over her shoulder without looking back or missing a beat. It was quite classic... I fell in love with her on the spot. See OP, if you would have just thought a little faster on your feet you could have a story like this with some girl admiring you instead of everyone laughing at... sorry... with you. No, at is correct... loser.

YDI for wearing the kilt without underwear when u knew u were lacking in a certain department. if u were hung like a horse, different story.
