Today, I wore my kilt to the university I attend. Getting tired of the stares which I was receiving, I yelled "It's cause its too big to fit in my pants". As soon as the words left my mouth, a gust of wind came and blew my kilt up around my waist, revealing that my previous claim was untrue. FML

Wear a kilt and bitch about being stared at. That's not the way to blend in.

you guys are all stupid, there is a difference between a dress and a kilt, and only men wear kilts

I hope you weren't being the typical nerd trying to get attention through odd clothing, like fedoras, Indiana Jones jackets, suspenders, etc. Christ that's annoying. You dont HAVE to wear abercrombie to be normal.

WOOOOO Thank you! Seriously. If you're gonna wear something really out there. This is America, not scotland... Kilts are not your every day wear for men...In scotland they are a sign of pride for your clan... here it's just a skirt!!!! But the more important point is if you ARE going to be brave enough to wear something ridiculous, then be prepared to get stared at. Because really, who WOULDN'T stare at someone walking around with a skirt... i mean kilt... on. Oh, and furthermore, seriously, why would you NOT wear boxers, or at the least some tighty whiteys. This is why men shouldn't wear skirts. Women understand: skirt + wind = embarrassing situation. And really, wearing something like a kilt is a way to get attention - you wanted the attention subconsciously - whether you can admit it or not - and most likely a way to compensate for your lack of manhood anyway.

And you don't HAVE to dress "normal" if you don't want to. But if you wear something out of the "norm", you should expect to get some stares.

These all say exactly what I was thinking. If you don't want stares, don't wear "odd" clothing for the setting. If you wear something different, expect to be treated differently. YDI

im not sure if you know, but kilts are MADE for going commando. ask anyone Scotish, youre not suppose to wear anything underneath.

Yeah, nerds - or whoever - that try to fit in could just put on some jeans and a t-shirt and they'd be fine...unless they really couldn't care less, than that's different.

hahahhaha this is the male version of a girl using pretending to text on her cellphone while seeing an ex to not look so pathetic. Why werent you wearing undies creep?

It is a sort of tradition not to wear undies whilst wearing a kilt

Stay with your bluff. Yell, "The cold wind caused shrinkage. . . significant shrinkage!!!"

I actually laughed out loud at that one

Yeah, they do. I asked one and she knew. Then she burned me with some knowledge about the female genitalia that I hadn't mastered. Thanks for making me ask and getting my ass kicked.

is it just me, or is it cold out here? :/

XD someone had a Marilyn Monroe moment!! XD XD

...I know it's tradition not to wear underwear under a kilt... but I thought that was just considered tradition, and everyone (who wears a kilt) wears underwear anyway... O_o I guess not.

Your first mistake was wearing a kilt. Your second mistake was not wearing underwear. YOU DIP-SHIT!
