I don't get why everyone thinks the guy is such an asshole, he was being honest, he's obviously not into poetry and he didn't know she wrote it. I'm a woman and if a guy wrote me a poem about his feelings for me, I'd be a bit weirded out myself because I'm not into that sort of thing at all. When doing something like that you really have to take the person you're writing it for into consideration, because obviously poetry is not for everyone.
