To answer your question of "where" OP was hit by your small stones....probably in the head/face or upper torso. It is kind of you to have such concern. But don't worry, OP probably does not know the small stones were yours.
My boyfriend never throws rocks at my house anymore. I think the spark is gone... I mean, when we started dating I'd have a concussion every second week. My floor would be covered in shrapnel and gravel. But now, nothing. He calls me on his phone to ask where I am. HIS PHONE. :(
Very few FML's I've seen on this site are actually devastating and terminal. Irritations and petty annoyances are just as FMLworthy.
