people make silly mistakes like this all the time. don't be so judgmental. I think you're just a bitch. teachers work more hours than most any profession at lower than optimum pay so you can get some mild form of education. lighten up

they work about 8 hours a day, five days a week, which is the average work day, and get the summer off.

196 - They work 8 paid hours. Then go home, grade papers, put together lesson plans, and often don't get to bed until late. Then have to deal with disrespectful kids with bad attitudes all day. Most teachers, especially high school teachers and non-tenured college professors, also have to work a second job in the summers because the pay sucks so bad. There's a reason why there's a need for teachers out there, lots of them burn out in the first couple years.
