Today, in the fitting room at Old Navy, a customer asked me if we sold Calvin Klein jeans. I replied "no ma'am, this isn't a department store, we only sell Old Navy jeans." She left, and complained to my manager, who informed me that "the customer is always right." FML

Have a friend pose as a customer and give you a home made coupon that says "All the shit I want for free". They're the customer; they're right.

You deserved it for being stupid!!

and it's stories like this that make me always try to be more polite than the employee. it's pretty hard, there's so many guidelines determining how their supposed to act.

People are idiots. I work at home depot, and wonder how some people tie their shoes.

in this case, the customer is not right, and your manager should have stood up for you.

Your manager is wrong. The customer is NOT always right.
