Today, my boss told me to go outside and take part in the company's stupid Harlem Shake video. When I declined, he threatened to fire me if I didn't take part. I ended up being the guy who had to furiously pelvic thrust before the music dropped. FML

Today, my son had to help out at the local retirement home for his community service. He got in serious trouble and came whining to me about it after he tried threatening some of the residents into taking part in a Harlem Shake video. FML

Today, I wanted to teach my students about history with dominoes. I thought the online video would be wholesome or relevant to history. Nope. The last domino was captioned "HENTAI." Students now get to explain to their parents that I exposed the word Hentai to their vocabulary. FML

I don't even know what the hell the video is but I gather from other posts that it is a stupid dance and the videos are pretty short. The professor was probably trying to lighten the mood a little before or while giving a boring ass lecture. So you should actually be delightfully surprised rather than bitching about it.

"Instead of actually showing us something"? Wait, so did he spend the whole lecture playing the video in a loop? No matter how you feel about the whole Harlem shake fad, a whole 1-2 hours of it would be excruciating. I feel your pain.
