Can you neutralize the smell by using baking soda as a shampoo for another rinse?
Word of advice: don't try new things you see on the internet the night before a big event.
Another piece of advice is that there are many categories of information online that you should read with a high degree of skepticism. A lot of tips and tricks that you find online are awesomely helpful, an almost equally large number are mediocre at best and usually a waste of time. A small but very significant percentage are total BS placed online by jerks whose idea of fun is misleading trusting, niave our outright stupid people. Often the tips are totally false and can have costly damaging consequences. Often they distort actual tips with enough misleading or missing info that you wind up missing prom or an important job interview. If you find a tip online that seems useful google it to see what results other people online who tried them experience. Reports online about medical studies and breakthroughs are notoriously exaggerated and often outright bogus but still get reported as "real news" be mainstream news sites. Even the major networks are eager to report "recent studies" by organizations without bother to do their own research. If it grabs headlines and viewers on a slow news day there is almost no downside to them financially if the report it as true. Frequently they never actually report the credentials of the people behind the study, wether the study involved 12 participants for 6 weeks or 1200 for six months. To be seriously credible a study should be conducted repeatedly with large groups of people over a lengthy period of time. Even major medical and scientific journals get duped into reporting slipshod studies on a disturbingly frequent basis. And if you use Wikipedia or other wiki style site, if it is important that the information be accurate search online for 2 or 3 other sources to confirm what you have read. Even an article that is 95% accurate can contain enough bad information that you can flunk a class or get fired if you submit it to your boss. Crowdsourced sites are great resources but they are not encyclopedias. And while even encyclopedias can makes mistakes, they are considered a legitimate enough resources that you might not get burned for trusting the content. Of course you have to use the most recent edition. Check the publication date.
shower?
Maybe you should try washing your hair after you use apple cider vinegar in your hair. it's an annoying process buy you wash your hair like normal, put the vinegar in it, and then you're supposed to was it out a couple hours later. my brother Does this all the time. I think you missed a step there buddy.
Um...ya know...there's a thing for that called "shampoo"... Heads& Shoulders would've been just as effective minus the feet smell
You read on the internet omg are you serious you Duarte it if you think the Internet was the answer
You are supposed to dillute it. Try washing and conditioning afterwards to kill the smell. I use ACV all the time.
Some head and shoulders products work perfectly
Lol, the problem with these sites that recommend these tips to you is that they forget to tell you to DILUTE strong products and next time do more research before testing it out. I used to tea tree oil on my pimples to minimize the appearance of them once. The next day It gave me weird circular rash spots on my face my face, but on the bright side it actually did its job. I was also left with a very strong smell in my room that didn't go away for days. So be careful next..
I miss the you deserve it button.

just wash your hair next time...
Apple cider vinegar is meant to be used as a diluted rinse. You rinse your scalp with it, and then shampoo and conditioner as normal. You could also use coconut oil and let that sit on your head for a few hours then wash because most likely you have a dry scalp or a fungus. ACV is used on horses for rain rot so if you have a fungus at least you know it'll clear it right up!
