Today, is the fourth day of my husband's and my new diet and exercise routine. I've already caught him eating junk food 4 times. He has lost 2 lbs and I've gained 3. FML

Men just lose it easier, it's ****** up, but for the most part true.

Some people have fast metabolisms, dont fret! Just do more cardio and maybe drink a protien shake in place of a meal if you want to gain muscle as well

Not really, metabolism is what helps you burn calories. So if people have a better metabolism than someone they'll lose weight faster. If anything it's the opposite of a bitch.

Don't worry OP, it sounds like you just have fluctuating water levels in your body. Stick to the routine and the weight will be gone soon.

Calorie deficiency is what needed to lose weight. Track your calories, try using Myfitnesspal in the appstore. And to whoever said your weigh will change that is true. Weight should usually be tracked weekly not daily as many things will change your weight daily.

I've used that app before it's definitely a great app. I think op should use it too it's very helpful :)

Ive personally used it in the past and it is a good way to track how many cals you have taken in. Along with a goal weight to lose per week. When you eat you never really taken in the number of cals are in the food.

diet results may vary from person to person..and its only 4 days OP...you will see progress soon..and all the best for you new year resolution....

A big thing most people do when "dieting" is they try to starve themselves by skipping meals or cutting back to much under eating can be just as bad as over eating try and do three small meals a day with snacks in between and always be conscience of what you eat too. You eat to much your body has surplus and it stores but if you eat to little your body thinks it's starving so it stores you just have to find the right balance for you. You can do it don't get discouraged and don't focus to much on weight there are plenty of unhealthy skinny people out there too and that's what it's really all about being healthy

Very true. If you don't eat enough your body will start to burn as few calories as possible to make your energy reserves last as long as possible, which means that instead of burning fat, you just lose energy. You need to eat enough, but keep what you eat low calorie. Don't worry about your results so far, its only been a couple days, which is not enough time to get an accurate idea of how the diet is working for you.
