Man, $375 a night?! Your husband could get a really good escort girl for that, and then he wouldn't notice the roaches or need the pool.
A good point!
I strongly recommend that you do *not* sodding well pay $375 a night, that's outrageous! >=O
I had almost the same thing one one of the places I stayed in on my honeymoon, I complained and they upgraded us to a better room, but that had heaps of spiders including a mouse spider under the blankets on the bed along with hair from the last people that stayed there, I complained again and told them we were on our honeymoon and they then they upgraded us to there best room and gave us a. complete refund.. always fun..
I am going to say YDI if you don't Stanton up for yourself and tell the hotel that you will be staying somewhere else and that they will not be charging your card. if you put it on an American Express you can just call card services and tell them you will be changing hotels and tell them why and they will not make you pay any type of cancelation fees. Membership really does have it's benefits :) . or you could just complain about your problem on FML and not do anything about it because you are part of the sheeple herd.... your choice
you're in hawaii. why do you need a pool?
Damn get your money back. and check into a different hotel!
Ask for a refund and stay somewhere else.

Get your money back. As a hotel, they are contractually obligated to provide a clean and hospitable environment. The fact that it clearly isn't means they breached this contract, and releases you and your spouse from the obligation of payment. If they refuse to give you the money back, you can sue for breach of contract & pain and suffering. The More You Know
