Today, it started raining unexpectedly. My daughter and I didn't have an umbrella, so my daughter raised one of my big flabby arms and put it over her head to protect her from the rain. It worked. FML

that might be a sign to start eating healthy and exercising more...

Kids do silly things. I put my own arm above my head when it rains and it does a decent job, and I'm no where near fat (5'3" and 110lbs) And kids are a lot smaller, so even if you're a little bit big, it doesnt mean much of anything. Eat better or excercise more. Or both. Both is the best plan.

just the word flabby sounds gross... lose some weight before you die women... do you want to catch a heartache or some other health problems do it for your daughter... im not trying to sound like an ass but trust me lose some weight try sign up to a good gym they got alot of fun classes that doesnt even seem like work outs... meet some friends at the gym too who is trying to lose weight or friends you already have it will make it more easier for you if you have someone that supports you and you can support them go for it!

I don't believe this FML is true. For one thing it just doesn't sound realistic at all, and for another thing, look at the OP's nickname and location. I'd be more inclined to believe it's someone making fun of obese America.

You don't think there's obese people in other countries? I'm from Indonesia and amongst the millions of super skinny people, I've seen my share of obese people (and children!) that would fit the American standard of what obese is. And from what I have seen, Indonesian people generally tend to be skinnier than Koreans, so it's very possible that this Korean woman is obese enough for her arm to act as an umbrella.

Gross. I would rather have rain on my head than a puddle of fat.

I wonder why your daughter has an eating disorder with such a fantastic parent like you?

That sounds literally impossible. But if it's true then waita go. You can protect your daughter in one more way then most men :)

Hahahaha i love that! Its squishy!! Lol

You commenters are ridiculous. Her daughter is probably like 5. And the mom's arm probably didn't COMPLETELY cover her from the rain... it may have been just enough to keep it off her face.
