I highly doubt they would fire you, as a promoted manager, just for being late, or on your FIRST DAY as a promoted manager. 1. We aren't given a reason as to why you were late. Of course, this also would count on if you were a late employee before you were promoted.. 2. How good of an amployee were you before the promotion as well...

28 I could totally see this happening at a call centre or some other job you wouldn't wish on Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, Madoff or Al Gore. At crap jobs like that it's one size fits all inflexible rules. Did it during university, saw it happen. Sooty about you luck OP, call the department of labour though
