Pit bulls can be really sweet dogs, but like all animals, they can attack you. You should have reported the owner for not keeping his dog in check and the pound would have put the dog down. It's sad to kill a dog but a dog the size of a pit bull can do much, much worse than just give someone stiches. YDI for not reporting this behavior. You should at least call the nonemergency line to your police and report this dog as a hazard before someone seriously gets hurt. YDI for not doing this last time, don't wait until next time foo!!

I don't know how alot of people have come to that thought. I currently have a rotweiler and i have grown up with rotweilers since they are ym dads faveorite breed and mine. They are some of the SWEETEST dogs. The new pitbul your friend got might not be as dangerous as the previous one.

FYL dude. That sucks balls. Owning Pit-bulls should be outlawed. They are all dangerous, vicious creatures bred for one thing: violence. The traits were BRED into them so that they would fight each other as well as other animals in a pit. Hence the name PIT-BULL. All pit-bulls everywhere should be shot, and so should the owners.

I have a pitbull and a Chihuahua. My pitbull is nicer than the Chihuahua. I agree with #231

i had a pit bull from 2 to 14 and he was the nicest dog ever saved my moms life twice and chased a guy over a barb wire fence who was tring to break in and would play with me when i was 2 and didnt do anything so that just says they are one of the nicest loyal and most protective dogs ever
