Today, it was my next-door neighbor's birthday. Over the past year, his pitbull has attacked my stepdad several times and put some stiches on me. Lucky for us, the dog was finally put down. For his birthday my neighbor got a new, bigger, pitbull. FML

Not all pitbulls are mean, maybe you'll get lucky and this one won't be.

this is bullshit. pits are amazing dogs, maybe its the owner whos the dumbass and raising them to be aggressive. its basically like raising a kid, teach them to rape and murder and 9 times out of 10 they'll grow up with the mindset that its ok. its people who dont understand this that give pits a bad rep, and another reason that theyre nearly outlawed.

You know im sorry to hear about the few accidents with the past pitt...but seriously guys...grow up and grow some knowledge..Pit Bulls can be just as dangerous as small terriers. The dog could possibly be the next best thing that happens in your life.

Not all pitt bulls are mean dogs. Mine is the sweetest dog ever. You need to train it right. Seriously, stop judging dogs for the owner's fault.

The pit bull put stitches on you? Interesting, I didn't know that they could do that! >_> Also, not all pits are mean.

*shrug* Some people just don't like certain types of dogs. And not for the stereotype either. My best friend hates pomeranians because it nearly took his dad's eye out. The guy's a dick, but still deserves to see lol

Dogs only act based on how they are raised. If that damn dog bit me, I'd shoot it. But, if you can't deal with that, just chunk a few chocolate bars over the fence.

For the longest time I believed all the hype and media about how aggressive Pitt bulls were. Then, back in august, my best friend gave me a puppy from a litter his brother Pitts had had. I was a bit skeptical & weary at first- but this puppy has turned out to be the most affectionate, sweetest dogs I have ever owned. It's all in the way you raise them; any animal can be aggressive if that's how their raised.

Who's to say it will attack you and your step-dad like the old one? Unless it was your neighbor's fault. Then he's a prick.

if the new dog attacks you, sue your neighbour for not controling his pets witch legitemaly puts your life in danger

Douchebags like your neighbor are the reason that the APBT and all other bully breeds, look-alikes and crosses are being subjected to discrimination and death. Find out about your local animal bylaws and nail that ******* ass to the wall so that no more dogs have to suffer.
