Today, my 13-year-old daughter and I went to a tropical themed restaurant. She wanted a strawberry Daiquiri, so I asked the waitress for a virgin strawberry Daiquiri. My daughter then said, "But dad, I'm not a virgin." FML

I'm almost 16, I'm trying to focus on college instead alll that stuff. at 13 I was to busy playing sports and being a tomboy I usual was playing tag or dodge ball with my guy friends

When I was about that age I genuinely thought being a virgin meant being pregnant with the baby Jesus. Maybe she just doesn't know what a virgin really is. We can hope!

Some of the comments on here are ridiculously judgmental. I lost my virginity when I was 14 (obviously I've since realised that 14 was too young an age to be doing that), and I'm not a "loss to society" or a "*****", and it didn't stop me from getting good grades. It didn't harm me emotionally or physically, and I hate how some people assume that someone is a bad person just because they made the mistake of having sex before they were ready. Also, my parents were very strict about not letting me spend the night with boys, not allowing me to have my bedroom door shut if I was with a boy in there, etc. I lost my virginity during the day, and obviously my parents weren't nearby and had no clue what was going on. So I don't understand why some of you are saying that this is OP's fault either.

Jesus... when I was 13, I was still convinced that boys had cooties... Hell, I'm 29 and sometimes I still think that. Why don't people have the talk with their children and teach them that giving the milk away for free is not the way to gain love and respect... just the way to gain unplanned children and STIs

Reminds me of my middle school.....3 goes got pregnant my 8th grade year (sadly I'm not even joking) hopefully OPs daughter practices safe sex despite her age.
